It reads like so many rhythm/music game releases in the past — the ubiquitous track list leak . The Beatles: Rock Band is still a few months off from its September 9 release date but Ripten has gotten its hands on a leaked list of the possible tracks from the game (found after the break). The list does include the three tracks we checked out in our hands-on with the game at E3 , though it also looks an awful lot like a list of Beatles singles across their career. Ripten notes that the ten tracks found in the glorious opening to the game are all included in its leaked list — and it is approximately the same amount of tracks we know the game will be shipping with — though we’ve yet to receive any official confirmation or denial from MTV Games, Harmonix, or EA. Update: A Harmonix spokesperson has confirmed to us that this leaked list of songs is definitely not the track list for The Beatles: Rock Band , saying, “The rumored ‘leaked’ list is not the disc track listing for The Beatles: Rock Band . We’ll be announcing more tracks throughout the summer. Stay tuned to thebeatlesrockband.com for the most up to date information about disc songs and downloadable content!” Gallery: The Beatles: Rock Band “I Saw Her Standing There” “Please Please Me” “Twist and Shout” “All My Loving” “I Wanna Be Your Man” “She Loves You” “I Want to Hold Your Hand” “A Hard Day’s Night” “And I Love Her” “Can’t Buy Me Love” “I’m A Loser” “Baby’s in Black” “I Feel Fine” “Help!” “Ticket to Ride” “I’ve Just Seen a Face” “I’m Down” “Drive My Car” “In My Life” “If I Needed Someone” “Day Tripper” “Taxman” “She Said She Said” “And Your Bird Can Sing” “Paperback Writer” “Sgt. It’s trendy to use the latest and greatest URL shortening services in IMs and Twitter postings, but clicking on a TinyURL is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you’re gonna get. To avoid any nasty surprises, affiliate links, or other deceptive uses of TinyURLs, you can install a Greasemonkey script called TinyURL Decoder . Although the name of the script contains “TinyURL,” that’s not the only service it works with. It can decode dozens of different flavors of shortened links. I’m impressed with the huge number of services this plugin includes, from the very popular (the aforementioned TinyURL) to the obscure (PeaUrl). Installing it should leave you well-situated to know where these sometimes-sketchy links are taking you. Original source: www.pheedcontent.com , delivered by rss-farm.ru

Hot on the heels of Facebook’s big username land-grab comes news that Facebook may be using the email addresses you import even after you choose not to add them as friends . The issue occurs if and when you let Facebook search your email contacts for people to invite to become your Facebook friend. As part of this process Facebook will list every contact you have that is already on Facebook, and offer you the chance to “friend” them all at once. You can choose to uncheck the ones that you don’t want to friend, essentially skipping them, or choose to skip all of them. While Facebook makes it clear that they will not store the password for your email account, what they don’t make so clear is that they will store the addresses of everyone it found in your email account and keep them associated with you, even the ones that you chose to skip. So how does Facebook use this information? They present you as a possible contact to the people that you skipped - even if that person has never shown Facebook a connection of any kind to you . Nice, eh? Effectively, Facebook is ignoring your preference to not contact these people by going behind your back to ask them if they want to friend you
